Harman Kardon has had a lot of funky looking products over the years (most recently THIS and THIS). They are continuing some of those crazy style trends with the Harman Kardon Aura, a new wireless speaker.
The Aura packs six high- and mid-range 1.5-inch transducers and a 4-inch subwoofer into a compact package. It also has built-in Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay lossless audio streaming, and DLNA, so you can stream music directly to the speaker, all without wires.
Because it has so many wireless options, it’s compatible with just about every smartphone, tablet, or computer out there. Other features include DSP audio technology and a compatible app with EQ and volume controls.
Promising omni-directional, 360-degree sound, the Harman Kardon will start shipping on April 9, 2014. It’s expected to sell for $399.95.
