Halcro’s EC800 Disc Player Offers a Plethora of Playback Options

Logic says that the more audio and video format support, the more comprehensive an A/V component is. Halcro’s Logic series of products says as much, with the Halcro name supplying the added statement of performance and reliability.

The EC800 disc player is the latest in Halcro’s Logic line, and its versatility begins with features such as HDMI, video up-scaling, RS-232 control and Ethernet connectivity.

The lowdown on audio playback: pop in your SACD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD, MP3-DVD and WMA-CD. Surround sound formats include DTS, Dolby Digital (AC-3), Dolby Pro Logic II, and Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound.

As for video: there’s CD-R, CD-W, DVD, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-VIDEO, MP-3 CD, Picture CD, JPEG, SVCD, Video D, and Video CD/SVCD.
