Just because you don’t live in Fort Knox, it doesn’t mean you aren’t deserving of a good security setup.

HAI has just announced a new line of surveillance products, including a network digital video recorder, two high-res video cameras, and a slew of accessories.

The NDVR ($1,018) has four channels, and allows you to view and record up to 16 cameras at once. It can capture video based on motion or an event, and then be viewed on or off-site using any web browser. It works as a stand-alone video product or as part of an HAI control system.

“What’s really unique about this NDVR is the form factor,” explains Thomas Pickral Jr., HAI’s business development manager. “It mounts directly on a wall or securely locked away in a structured wiring enclosure eliminating the need for a costly rack or unsightly shelf. It makes for a much cleaner, easier and secure installation.”

There’s a Universal Mounting Plate Kit available for the NDVR (68A04-1), which runs $83.30. Two high-resolution cameras are also available in dome- or bullet-style; prices start at $255.
