When it comes to going fast (and looking good doing it), Ferrari is the name to beat. When it comes to sounding good, Meridian is no slouch. Put those two in a bag, shake well, and what pops out is the new F80 Entertainment Center. A joint venture, this steering-wheel-inspired “complete home entertainment system” sports 80 watts of power via 3 separate amps, a slot-loaded CD/DVD player, and an iPod insert for your favorite mp3s. There’s also a DAB/FM/AM tuner for good measure as well as an Advanced Digital Signal Processor which lets you tweak the output to suit the acoustical environment.

Available in March (UK only) for £1,495 in 5 color options—silver, yellow, red, white and black…I suspect red will be popular. Special “luxury” finishes will be offered down the road, as it were.
