We know when it comes to speakers, it’s what’s on the inside that really counts. The outside? Well, only a few speakers have a design that can really call to—or creep out—its owners.
You have to give it up for Axelsson. They took the speaker creativity ball and ran with it… and possibly lobbed it over a fence.
The guys over at the Home Theater Blog say the Dragon has a fun design. That’s one way of putting it. However, once again, we have to default to what’s under this ugly mug: a 1-inch Peerless tweeter and Vifa bass/midrange drivers. In other words, it can’t sound as bad as well… it looks.
Each one is small enough to stuff on a bookshelf, and scare small children. A pair will cost $940, plus shipping from the UK.
