Gefen 2x2 Switcher for HDMI v1.3
Gefen has released its 2X2 Switcher for HDMI v1.3, which allows plug and play access to two video sources from two displays.
The switcher supports 1080p Full HD, Deep Color, Lip-Sync Pass Through, DTS Master Audio and Dolby True HD.
It’s also HDCP compliant, and CEC Pass Through allows the switcher to support any device that uses the HDMI format. Two six-foot HDMI cables are included.
The switcher offers two HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs that run off a 5-volt power supply. The two outputs are mirrored, passing along the same video and audio from the source.
The unit comes with an IR remote that can be used for switching between sources. EDID and reset buttons help fine tune the image and connectivity.
