Garmin’s Road Tech zūmo is a special edition of its existing zūmo 550.
We’re pretty sure that’s not a Harley pictured, but we can almost bet that the guy is dreaming of a Harley, as well as the new Road Tech zūmo.
This version of Garmin’s zūmo 550 is specifically designed for Harley owners. Aside from the zūmo’s typical hotels, restaurants, and other points of interest, this waterproof model throws in a directory of Harley-Davidson dealers. It also features a custom handlebar mount that allows users to transfer this zūmo from the car to the bike in one snap.
Other features include Bluetooth support, left-handed controls, oversized buttons, turn-by-turn voice directions, and a ride planner that syncs with the Harley-Davidson website. Swap those routes with other owners via the unit’s SD card slot. It can also hook to an optional XM radio antenna for weather, traffic and radio on the road.
Starting this week, the Road Tech zūmo will be available at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, as well as authorized Harley-Davidson dealers. It will retail for $799.
