I was a student at Shawnee Middle School when the first Friday the 13th movie came out. It was the first slasher film I’d seen in a theater (Amityville Horror was my first horror film) and is probably partly responsible for my lifelong addiction to scary movies.
I still enjoy watching it now and then, though the appeal is a little different than when I was 12.
If you feel the same way, enter our Friday the 13th Sweepstakes for your chance to win a Blu-ray copy of the movie. You’ll be able to visit Camp Crystal Lake as often as you like in your own home theater.
