When it comes to designing home theaters or media rooms what has become evident is that home theater enthusiasts are seeking more unique options rather than settling for ‘off-the-shelf’ products.

The Kensington was a collaborative effort between the home owner, his designer and Fortress. The challenge was to develop a home theater chair that echoed tones of his Ferrari along with the necessary criteria of a theater chair. The open arms lighten the scale of the chair and the channeled back adds a unique look and fantastic comfort.

Fortress Seating is one of the few companies in the industry that manufactures their own chairs.  Working with a prime manufacturer, like Fortress, gives the client and the integrator the flexibility to customize the seating anyway they like.  Whether it’s following a particular curve in the room, creating a custom design, or incorporating some of our one-of-a-kind accessories, Fortress is here to help.  Function and design are Fortress trademarks.
