A kiss may be a kiss and a sigh just a sigh, but all home theater chairs are not created equal. Fortress Seating’s Casablanca was built for serious sprawling.
Loungers are apparently becoming a popular option for the home theater’s front row. Add this baby and there will be no need to shout, “Down in front!” We are willing to get horizontal there, or anywhere else there’s a spot to spread out.
As far as craftsmanship, this unit is a beauty. It features a crafted camelback, tapered alder feet, and nail-heard detail (for another $1,500). The seatback and cushions are stuffed with down and high-density foam, creating a feeling of “oneness” with the couch.
With overall dimensions coming in at a generous 125 inches wide and 67 inches deep, the Casablanca is priced around $8,400 (as shown with the custom material).
