The new RFR-E5 emulates the look and feel of the KLK-E5 Keypad, originally introduced by Russound in 2007.
I know Russound makes killer multiroom audio systems, but now they’ve got a remote to complete the package.
The RFR-E5 is a new two-way RF remote with a funky clickwheel design, as well as some of the hard buttons we are all still dependent upon.
Designed as part of the E-Series, the remote also includes infrared support, which provides control over three local sources. Between IR and RF and the tag team of IP and Zigbee support, you can view metadata on any home system right on the high-resolution display from anywhere in the house.
The RFR-E5 will be available exclusively through certified Russound integrators starting in Q2 2008.
