Think it ain’t easy being green? It looks downright comfy to me.
First Impressions Theme Theatres just announced its CineGreenLounger, an eco-friendly theater seat that is easy on your backside, as well as the environment.
It’s made with all sustainable materials, including a formaldehyde-free frame and recycled seat fillers. Don’t worry—you won’t find old cans or bottles in there or anything. It’s all fire retardant, and cushy thanks to 100 percent recycled cotton stuffing, hog, horsehair, and down filling options.
The company also boasts that there are no chemicals, dyes or other toxins. Even the drink holders are made from natural Lyptus wood and hand-rubbed bees’ wax. The CineGreenLounger is available in 23 of the company’s 29 seat models.
Call us a bunch of tree huggers if you must, but we’d prefer “tree loungers.”
