Instead of blowing a blood vessel in your head trying to decide between the wonders of Blu-ray or HD DVD, give your brain a rest and go for both. VidaBox couldn’t decide which camp to side with either—so they just made two products that support both high-def technologies.
The LUX and the MAX are two media-center-style PCs that hook up to your home’s entertainment center.
That means it also makes like a TiVo to pause and record live TV, or you can just entertain guests with every vacation photo you’ve ever taken—around 3,000GB of storage should be able to hold every last one of them
Playing favorites with everyone doesn’t come cheap though. This high-def love-in will run you at least $3,500.
- LUX starts at $3,499
- MAX starts at $4,399
- Supports Blu-ray and HD DVD
- HDCP-compliant outputs
- AMD 4600+ dual core processors
- 7950GT video card
- Up to 3,000GB (MAX) or 3,750GB (LUX) of storage
