Even level-headed Jim Anderson from Father Knows Best would flip for gadget gifts like these.

Fathers’ day is coming, so it’s time to start thinking about what to give him that will convey all that he’s done for you. To that end, I don’t think a mere case of beer or semi-ancient bottle of scotch will do the trick.

Before we get into the gift picks, we’d like to settle a couple common misconceptions:

Myth 1) Dads don’t really care about Father’s Day.
Of course we do. We just want you to believe we don’t because that makes it easier to hide our disappointment over that shirt you’re going to give us.

Myth 2) We just want the day off to nap.
Napping is for nighttime. Father’s day is for actively being unproductive, which means doing something, but something that doesn’t result in the grass getting mowed.

Check out these 10 great gifts that are bound to make Father’s Day Memorable.
