ESPN will televise 14 NBA games this season in 3D, starting with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat against the New York Knicks on Dec. 17.
ESPN plans to also broadcast in 3D games with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic.
ESPN will broadcast eight regular season games and six playoff games in 3D.
Most recently, we saw college football and the U.S. Open tennis championships get the 3D treatment.
