Epson has put out some impressive projectors over the years. Now, they are adding the PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD into the mix.
Designed for families and first-time home theater enthusiasts, Epson’s latest PowerLite projector offers up a 720p HD image for movies, games and more—at up to 120 inches or more. With 3LCD, 3-chip technology, the 710HD also has 2,800 lumens of color and white light output and the Easy-Slide image correction, a control bar that allows viewers to place the projector off-center and adjust the image with the touch of a finger.
Other features include built-in speakers for use almost anywhere, as well as HDMI connectivity and a USB 2.0 connection. The PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD also has four pre-set color modes for a variety of viewing environments.
Epson suggests mounting the 710HD anywhere from 3.5 to 35.5 feet from the wall or screen.
“Whether it’s a blockbuster movie, live sporting event or video game, the Home Cinema 710HD offers a great home entertainment experience at an affordable price,” said Kristi Lanzit, Epson’s product manager. “Delivering high-quality 720p output, the Home Cinema 710HD delivers rich, vibrant images for a true large screen cinematic experience that you can’t get in a TV for the same price.”
Epson says that the Home Cinema 710HD will start shipping later this month. Priced with an MSRP of $649, the 710HD also comes with a two-year limited warranty, access to Epson’s PrivateLine priority technical support, a 90-day limited lamp warranty, and free two-business-day exchange with Extra Care Home Service.
