A while back, we reported on the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080 UB, a nifty 1080p projector that was originally priced at under $2,700. That’s until the company realized they could get a few grand more for it, and changed the price. Tease!

Well now, it looks as though they are redeeming themselves with the PowerLite Home Cinema 720. Just announced, this high-def dreamboat provides 720p at up to 120 inches—for only $1,299.

Other features of the 3LCD 16:9 unit include 1,600 ANSI lumens for brightness levels, 10-bit color processing, and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The unit is also backed up by the Epson’s own in-home Road Service and phone-based PrivateLine support.

Now go scarf one up before they change their minds about the price.
