Epson’s Ensemble HD ranges from $4,999 to $7,999
The all-in-one home theater system from Epson is improving with the times, as the company has announced that you can now include its latest 1080p projectors as part of the theater rig.
That would be the Ensemble HD Home Cinema System, which Epson teamed with Atlantic Technology in giving you an instant home theater that includes screen, projector, speakers, controller with DVD player, and remote.
It is now offered with Epson’s 3LCD 1080p front projector options of the PowerLite Home Cinema 6100 and Home Cinema 6500 UB. It was already available with 720p projection for $4,999 and 1080p for $6,999. Now with the Home Cinema 6100 that 1080p price has been reduced to $6,499, and with the 6500 UB it’s at $7,999.
The latest projector offerings feature Epson’s 1080Perfect video processing, which delivers 1080p and 24fps, AbsoluteBlack technology for contrast ratio of 75,000:1, OptiCinema lens for improved detail and color, Epson 3LCD for faithful image reproduction, and E-TORL lamp that generates low-power consistent light output.
That’s on top of the whole Ensemble shebang that features:
The Ensemble can be a nice DIY theater project for you, offered at places like Projectorpeople.com and Visualapex.com, or you can have it professionally installed—search for a custom electronics professional on Epson’s website.
