Epson is launching a new entry-level home theater projector which also happens to be the company’s brightest projector yet.

The Epson Home Cinema 750HD offers 3000 lumens of color and white brightness via the Bright 3D Drive Technology and a resolution of 720p. Like all Epson projectors, the 750HD is a three-chip LCD (3LCD) model. It includes the same easy image correction keystone adjustment found on last year’s MegaPlex MG-850HD model for quick picture tweaking. That’s a feature that comes in handy for people who set the projector out for temporary usage rather than for permanent installation, but the projector works just as well installed on a ceiling as it does on a tabletop.

The projector’s lens features a 1.2x optical zoom for positioning flexibility and automatic vertical keystone (+/- 30 degrees) correction. Instant Off technology allows for no waiting time to start or shut-down projector. It features built-in speakers, making it suitable for instant backyard movie nights. The lamp is said to be good for 5,000 hours.

The 750HD ships with one set of RF 3D glasses which feature a 40-hour battery life (rechargeable). The projector will be available in late March for $899.
