Episode Speakers is debuting a new line of speakers designed for an easy install. The company, which falls under the SnapAV umbrella, first showed the new product offering last fall at the CEDIA Expo.
First up, the company is offering the Episode 300 Series, which comes packing three front channels in one package. Designed for use under a flat-panel TV, the Episode 300 is available in 30- and 40-inch sizes, priced at $499 and $599, respectively.
The Episode 300 Series also features two sizes of on-wall speakers. These LCRs are available in medium ($199 each) or large ($299) sizes, for use as front channel or surround sound speakers.
All of the Episode 300 offerings are timbre-matched, with .75-inch Ferro-fluid cooled silk dome tweeters, 3-inch polypropylene woofers with Nomex Spiders and high-temperature voice coils, and a 3-inch passive radiator per woofer.
Each one also comes packing brackets for wall mounting and a “kickstand” for shelf placement. Other SnapAV bracket options are sold separately.
Available in a high-gloss piano black with black mesh grills, Episode is shipping the products to authorized dealers now.
