It seems like everyone always has love for iOS users. Now, DreamVision has designed a little something sweet for everyone with an Android device. The company just announced the Dreamy Geek, a new projector with an interface that’s based on the Android 4.0 operating system.
That Android love allows users to access thousands of Google Play apps right through the projector (see interface below). It even comes preloaded with Angry Birds, News Republic, Sports Republic, Appy Geek, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail.
The company also promises images up to 118 inches, with a 1280×800 resolution, a fixed 1.19:1 short throw lens, and 500 ANSI lumens. The Dreamy Geek even has four internal speakers, two HDMI inputs, three USB ports, a microSD card slot, and up to 30,000 hours of lamp life.
It also doesn’t shut out iOS users, thanks to the unit’s AirPlay capabilities. That way, you can stream audio, video and photos right to the projector from a networked iPhone or iPad. Other networking features include built-in Wi-Fi, Ethernet capability, and even DLNA support for accessing other computer-stored content over the network.
Weighing at under 2.2 pounds, the Dreamy Geek comes packing a wireless mouse/keyboard combo. Contact DreamVision for pricing and additional information.
