We’re very familiar with the eye candy that SIM2 can provide. The company has been cranking out a variety of high-end home theater projectors for years.
Now, SIM2 USA, the sister company of its Italian counterpart, is planning to unleash six new 3-chip DLP projectors. All of the new products will fall under the Grand Cinema Series.
The new models include the Lumis Uno E, the Lumis 3D-PF, the SuperLumis, the SuperLumis Pro, the SuperLumis Duo, and the ultra-exclusive, limited-edition Fuoriserie. What makes that last one “ultra-exclusive” probably has a lot to do with its $120,000 price tag. The other models start at $26,000.
All six boast a professional Hollywood moviemaker experience, thanks to SIM2’s proprietary design, three-chip DLP architecture, and other technological advances. Depending on the model, those advances could include anything from new connectivity and 10,000 ANSI lumens to remote monitoring and control.
“SIM2’s unparalleled success in home cinema now continues with the new Grand Cinema series,” says Maurizio Cini, SIM2’s president. “These new models also renew our commitment to our dealer partners to provide competitively priced, innovative and powerful projectors that produce exceptional Hollywood picture quality.”
SIM2 expects the new Grand Cinema Series to start selling by the end of February.
