Edifier has made some funky speakers in the past. However, the company is getting a bit bold (and less pointy) with the new e25 Luna Eclipse.
The boldness comes from the set’s unique shape and the red color, but this pair doesn’t just look pretty. It also has Bluetooth support, so you can crank 74 watts of sound right to your desktop. Because of that wireless technology, the speakers don’t actually need to be hooked to anything. Users can stream music wirelessly from any smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
Of course, tethering is an option, via the included auxiliary cable. Other features include a 0.75-inch tweeter, a 3-inch driver, and dual 3-inch passive bass radiators, as well as DSP and DRC technologies. The set is also pretty easy to operate, via touch-sensitive controls on the speaker or the included remote.
If you’re not ready to rock the red, the e25 Luna Eclipse also comes in black and white. All three models are selling now for $199.99 per pair.
