GammaTech’s D15RP is designed with a magnesium top and bottom case to protect against drops and other mishaps.
Think you’ve had a hard day at work? Imagine how your laptop feels.
Some can handle daily use better than others. However, GammaTech’s Durabook D15RP notebook is made to take your abuse. The Durabook line has a design that can handle drops, kicks, and even the occasional spill. The latest in that line, the D15RP, takes the security to the next level, adding in internal TPM and hard drive encryption. So it’s good on the outside, but also protects inside as well.
Other features include Intel’s Centrino Duo Mobile technology, an anti-glare acrylic shield for the 15.4-inch screen, and support for WLAN, WWAN, GPS and Bluetooth. Both Windows Vista Business Edition and Vista Home Basic Edition are offered. Also, GammaTech says that the lithium ion battery should get you four hours of web surfing, work, gaming or other computer fun.
The Durabook D15RP is available now for $1,950.
