My parents have no clue about the digital TV transition. Sure, I could explain it to them, or I could just send them a link on YouTube.

The Consumer Electronics Association has posted an 8.5-minute video to help consumers grasp the DTV switch. It’s pretty well done, and could help clue in friends and family that can’t quite seem to grasp your A/V addiction.

Aside from the switch specifics, the video also highlights choosing a TV and hookup. If you’re not sure what’s going on, it’s worth a few minutes to watch.
