Disney joines other major studios, who are working with TiVo through Amazon’s Unbox
DVR pioneer TiVo is certainly no Mickey Mouse organization, but the company is apparently ready to try on its Mickey ears.
The company will be offering Disney content for on-demand viewing later this year, according to the Hollywood Reporter, which gives TiVo the boast of being able to provide on-demand content from all of the major studios.
Other TiVo movie and TV content can be had through its relationship with Amazon.com and its Unbox service.
For the Disney relationship, TiVo’s service will go through CinemaNow, which has been making noise recently by working with Microsoft Windows Media Center for downloads and streaming.
Disney selections will be available to TiVo standalone subscribers who have broadband web connections, so you won’t have to wait long to get your High School Musical fix.
