TiVo is still cranking out plenty of DVR boxes, and now they want an even wider audience. The company has been working with DIRECTV to put that magical box into subscribers’ homes. Now, the two say that the TiVo HD DVR is ready for its nationwide release.

DIRECTV is now making the TiVo HD DVR available to all of its customers. The box will allow users to record up to 100 hours of high-def programming, or 400 of the standard-def stuff. It can record two shows at once, and features TiVo exclusives such as the Season Pass, WishList Searches and TiVo Suggestions.

Of course, it also provides access to all of DIRECTV’s services, which includes over 7,000 free on-demand movies at TV shows.

DIRECTV has been testing out the TiVo HD DVR on its customers since December. The satellite provider launched the DVR in 10 markets before making the decision to offer it to all DIRECTV subscribers.

The TiVo HD DVR is available now through DIRECTV for $199.
