It’s been about a month since Apple announced its AirPlay service. Now all we can do is wait for the product parade. Marantz and Denon are leading that parade, with announcements to put the feature into many of its new and existing products.

AirPlay allows users to stream music wirelessly anywhere in the house. However, it’s not just any music; Apple’s service will also incorporate iTunes streaming. According to Apple’s AirPlay website, there will be a variety of products with AirPlay support built in. For now, Apple’s product partners include Denon, Marantz, B&W, JBL and iHome.

For Denon and Marantz users, the firmware upgrade will come on November 25, via the touch of a button and a $49 fee. The upgrade will be offered on all of the new IP-based Marantz products, such as the SR7005 AV receiver ($1,599), the AV7005 preamplifier ($1,499), the NA7004 Network Audio Player ($799), and the M-CR603 Networked CD Receiver ($699).

Denon, who is linked to Marantz under the D&M Holdings umbrella, also recently announced AirPlay compatibility for a few of its products. Four Denon A/V receivers will have AirPlay support, including the AVR-4311CI ($1,999), AVR-3311CI ($1,199), AVR-991 ($999), and the company’s new 100th Anniversary Product Collection Model AVR-A100 ($2,499). Other Airplay-enhanced Denon products include the N7 Networked CD Receiver and 2.0 Channel Speaker System, which consists of the new RCD-N7 CD Receiver ($599) and SC-N7 Stereo Loudspeakers ($199/pair).
