Dell is offering a free Xbox 360 Elite bundle with selected purchases—through this Thursday.
Dell wants to entice gamers to buy that XPS 630 or XPS M1730 now. Buy either one soon, and you’ll not only get an evil gaming machine, but you’ll also score an Xbox Elite bundle for free.
The XPS 630 is a $2,000 desktop unit with an Intel Core 2 E8500 processor and 7.1-channel audio, but no monitor. The M1730 will let you take your gaming on the go for an extra grand. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor and a 17-inch widescreen.
The Xbox Elite bundle includes a 120GB detachable hard drive, an HDMI port, HDMI cable and a black wireless controller. It currently retails for about $500.
As Engadget calls out, those spending such a bundle on a gaming laptop probably already have an Xbox 360. Donate it, gift it to mom, put it in the bathroom, the bottom of your closet, or eBay it to recoup some of the cost. Everyone loves something for free.
If you’re planning to buy one of those machines anyway, now is the time. The offer ends on Thursday, July 24.
