Definitive Technology is kicking off this year’s CEDIA Expo right—with four new speaker products. All week long, the company will be showing off the newly announced Mythos ST-L SuperTower, the SoloCinema Studio, the Incline, and the Cube.

As a redesign of the Mythos ST, the new Mythos ST-L SuperTower is a floorstanding speaker that provides complete sound in a slick package. It features three new patent-pending speaker technologies, as well as integrated subwoofers. No separate subwoofer is needed! Available in black or limited-edition graphite silver, the Mythos ST-L will come packing its own remote control and an MSRP of $2,499 each.

For something slightly smaller, the SoloCinema Studio is Definitive’s latest soundbar. Following in the footsteps of the SoloCinema XTR, the SoloCinema Studio has Dolby Digital and DTS processing, five discrete channels, and 120 watts of power. To complete the package, the SoloCinema Studio comes with a 200-watt wireless subwoofer. Other features include Bluetooth and Near Field Communication (NFC) support, three HDMI inputs, and an MSRP of $1,119.

The Incline is actually a pair of compact, self-powered loudspeakers designed to fit neatly on your desktop. This is Definitive’s first official option for computer use.  The Incline has a backward-tile design, four drivers, and a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). To help create a wider soundfield, the set also uses bipolar technology to radiate sound in an omni-directional pattern. The Incline will ship as a set, with a price of $399.

Last in the new lineup is the Cube Bluetooth audio system, which offers playback via AC power or a battery for one-the-go use. As you probably guessed by the product name, this speaker delivers sound via wireless Bluetooth streaming. NFC support also provides an easy connection to any compatible portable. Like the Incline, this compact option is also listed with an MSRP of $399.

“CEDIA Expo is the perfect platform for our brand to launch a new generation of high-quality speakers, soundbars and systems for technology and audio aficionados everywhere,” said Michael DiTullo, Definitive Technology’s chief design officer. “Our team spent several months researching, engineering and testing each speaker to solve a variety of audio needs. What resulted was a new line of products that deliver a thoughtfully engineered design for users who appreciate a modern aesthetic to complement their home and superior sound for an enjoyable listening experience.”

All four of Definitive’s new products will start shipping in October 2013.
