Deal: The Bourne Trilogy on HD DVD - $30.00
Yet another opportunity for HD DVD owners to scoop up three high adrenalin movies at a basement price.
March 04, 2008 by Gordon Jones

If you’re gonna buy an HD DVD movie, it better be a title you’re comfortable watching over and over (and over). For me, that list of repeatables would include Shawshank, Serenity, and, without a doubt, the Jason Bourne trio.

Today Amazon is offering all three of the Bourne movies (The Bourne Identity / The Bourne Supremacy / The Bourne Ultimatum) in hidef goodness for just $30 and free shipping. That’s down from the original price of $80. Not a bad deal for six nausea-inducing hours of shaky camera work and insane car chases. If it helps, consider the deal a consolation prize for choosing the “wrong” format.

One reviewer notes that Identity and Ultimatum are actually combo discs (they include the regular DVD version on the flip side) while Supremacy is HD DVD only. While I hesitate to trust the random Amazon reviewer consider it a warning if you’re buying with DVD only in mind.
