Sony’s BDP-S300 can be yours with four movies for under $150 from Amazon
Amazon.com has already slashed the Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player’s price quite a bit, down to $176.96, including free shipping. If you want to go even lower, Amazon has another coupon code (AMAZONBD, which you enter at checkout) that will take the price down $100 when you add four Blu-ray movies.
We know, we know—usually that means picking from the dregs of the movie vault. In this case, sure the choice is limited to only 32 selections, but they could make for a good starter collection to your Blu-ray library.
Dealnews picked the four cheapest ones they could find, and calculated that the lowest price bundle you could purchase would lead to a deal of the Blu-ray player and four flicks for a pretty nifty $142.76.
That meant the titles would be “House of Wax” for $13.95, “Goodfellas” and “Phantom of the Opera” at $16.95 apiece and one of the several $17.95 films (my choice would be Tim Burton’s visual and audio feast “Corpse Bride” that is stunning on Blu-ray).
Of course, for a few bucks more you could go with some different titles and still grab the player and four films for between $145 and $160.
Apparently you are not eligible for the movie bundle promotion if you are an Amazon Prime member, unless you open a a new Prime-free account, according to Dealnews.
