I love big displays. Whether 100-inch front projection or 50-inch plasma, it takes a big display to make a big impact.
But some applications require a bit more finesse. Could be it’s a bedroom, kitchen, office (where you need a TV that doubles as a computer monitor), bathroom, or tool shed, sometimes a small high-quality display can make a big impact in a small space.
Office Depot happens to have the Samsung T260HD 26-inch 1080p LCD HDTV Monitor (including ATSC/QAM tuner) for only $299 (free shipping).
With two HDMI ports, component video, and DVI-D you can easily connect a PC and several other AV components. While the 1,000:1 contrast ratio may not offer Kuro-like blacks, the 170-degree viewing angle and “invisible Dolby Digital” sound system equate to flexibility in mounting and positioning. When small is what’s big, this display keeps the footprint and the price tag to a minimum.
