To continue with the HTPC theme of the week, I thought I’d pass along this novel way of controlling your HTPC from the comfort of your chair.
The Gyration Motion Sensing Remote, available for $29.99 from TigerDirect, offers all of the standard transport and multimedia controls you would find on a Windows Certified Media Center Remote.
But it goes one step further by offering mouse cursor control using motion of the remote itself, similar to the Wii-mote. Commands are relayed using 2.4GHz radio frequencies instead of IR, so no line of sight is necessary.
