Believe it or not, there once was a day when quarters meant something and studyhall was spent at a suspiciously convenient gas station turned arcade. Suffice it to say, today’s platforms - the Wii, XBox, even the PS3 - have got nothing on that old school gaming… and I’m not talking about Grand Theft Auto III.
If you can identify with that era (Eye of the Tiger ring a bell?), or you just have a taste for a more finite gaming experience, today’s deal would be an awesome addition to any family room, basement hangout or bachelor’s den.
Packed with 50 of the most classic games like Asteroids, Battle Zone, Berzerk, Centipede, Jungle Hunt, Lunar Landing, Space Invaders, Tempest, the full sized arcade cabinet houses a 19 inch hi-res monitor and those same classic joysticks and buttons your wrists are still recovering from.
An intuitive menu guides you through the gaming options and instructions are displayed at the start of each selection. (You made it to level 1042 in Halo and you need BattleZone instructions?) No offering of coins is required for this shrine to the 80’s, but I suppose you could always fill your pockets for nostalgia’s sake.
Some assembly is required, shipping has got to hurt.

To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven.
You owe me royalties, mate!
from the pic (that’s all i have to go on) it looks like it has two-player capabilities. however, in the days of old, most games just rotated between the two players, each one taking their turn… anyone remember “turns”?.
Is this a 2 person game?
I smell a Mother’s Day gift for Rachel!
