If you didn’t snag a cheap laptop over the holidays, Dell has a deal that’s hard to pass up.
Purchase the Inspiron Mini 9, and you will get a $350 mail-in rebate—making the grand total $99. The only catch is that you need to sign up for two years of AT&T’s LaptopConnect service.
At 2.28 pounds, the Inspiron Mini 9 is very easy to tote around. Dell says they are targeting teens and travelers who want to surf the web from anywhere. However, if you are willing to pay the monthly fee for web service, it’s hard to not snag a new unit at this price.
Other features includes an Intel Atom N270 processor, 512MB of memory, an 8GB hard drive, Windows XP, and 4 hours of battery life.
Dell’s offer expires on January 31, 2009. Rebate forms can be found on Dell’s website.
