Ice the Mountain Dew and close the blinds, because the only thing better than one cheap game is two.

The era of separate rigs for your games and movies is fading fast. I know some in the home theater biz balk at this convergence, but I’ll wager they’ve never played Battlefield4 on a 60 inch screen, or better yet, Halo3 from a hd projector.

There are certainly issues such as fan noise and equipment esthetics to be solved, but regardless of platform, be it a Sony, Microsoft, or any of the PC setups, I think it’s clear the big screen action is no longer limited to film, as it were.

Friday’s deal on a Wii bundle got some nice play, so fast on its heels is an offer from Best Buy - purchase one Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 game from their selected list and get a second game at 1/2 off. Since all the offered titles are $59.99, that comes to a $30 savings.

Yes, the list is rather short (just 13 total), and split between the two flavors, but each has a gem or two.

They include:

Xbox 360
Burnout Paradise
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
Devil May Cry 4
Turok
Assassin’s Creed
Frontlines: Fuel of War

PlayStation 3
Burnout Paradise
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
Devil May Cry 4
Assassin’s Creed
Turok

Sale price: Buy one, 1/2 of second + $2.99 s/h

Deal ends: April 4, 2008
