Newegg is offering the Corion Digital Lifestyles 42-inch LCD at a reduced price.
In case you weren’t one of the many clamoring for a cheap TV deal on Black Friday, there are still plenty of offers out there.
Crunch Gear is reporting on a nifty deal at Newegg that will net you a 42-inch HDTV for $499. However, we need to point out that the HDTV is 720p (not horrible), and the brand is Corion Digital Lifestyles (who?).
Also worth mentioning: Newegg is not offering free shipping. Still, you could have it within three days for a mere $50.
The unit has a 1366 x 768 resolution, an 8ms response time, a 176-degree viewing angle, a built-in HD tuner, and plenty of inputs, including two for HDMI devices.
Judging by the reviews, previous customers seem pretty pleased; at last look, the unit had received 4 out of 5 stars. It may not be the type of TV that you’d brag about, but it certainly wouldn’t look bad in a basement or bedroom.
