D-Link’s new SideStage is a 7-inch USB-powered monitor with an 800 x 480 resolution.
We love to multitask. D-Link wants to promote that kind of enthusiasm, with the new SideStage monitor.
This sharp 7-inch display allows you to add more monitor action into your mix, via USB. That way, you can have one monitor designated for work and one for fun.
“This latest addition to our family of digital home solutions is designed to add productivity to PC users while providing a convenient and friendly way to view smaller applications,” according to Steven Joe, D-Link’s president and CEO. “The SideStage solves the problem of needing a bit more screen space, providing quick access to commonly accessed applications hidden behind larger Windows on the desktop.”
Weighing only 1.34 pounds, the unit delivers an 800 x 480 resolution with 32-bit True Color depth, in a 3/4-inch slim package. It should be compatible with all CRT and flat-panel monitors.
Of course, there’s no word on how much this type of multitasking will cost you. The D-Link SideStage is expected to ship to retail stores later this year.
