Finally—a line for those that want a Crestron controller but not enough to bust into the walls. Using the company’s infiNET wireless mesh networking technology, Crestron has created a line of controllers that operates without the need for actual wiring.
The line includes infiNET push-button controllers, Cameo keypads and the iLux integrated lighting control system. Each one is wireless, offering control of subsystems such as audio, video, lighting and HVAC.
Powered by two AA batteries, the HTT-B10X (shown) features 10 engravable backlit buttons. Shipped with a set of backlit buttons in three sizes, the infiNET Cameo keypads can be customized and configured up to six buttons. Finally, the iLux CLS-C6RF can control six lighting zones and six groups of shades, as well as up to 15 scenes for either.
No word on pricing for any of the controllers, but at least you won’t have to worry about the extra install costs.
