Crestron Gives the Green Light to Latest Energy-Efficient Products
The Crestron Green Light products are a complete line of lighting, HVAC and shades/drapes control designed for energy and cost savings.
February 29, 2008 | by Arlen Schweiger

One of the biggest buzzwords this decade is “green,” and more and more manufacturers are catering their products to greater eco-friendliness. Home automation and lighting companies have been touting energy efficiency in their solutions and seem to be getting greener all the time.

The latest green products come from home control giant Crestron, which has announced its Crestron Green Light product line of lighting, HVAC and shade/drape control meant to help consumers optimize their energy efficiency and cost savings.

Since Crestron products rely on automated settings and precise control, the Green Light products should fall right into line with consumers’ wishes for greener living—certain lights will be programed to be in use absolutely only when the homeowner wants, while HVAC settings can be tied into the automatic window shading, for example.

“Going green is not new for us – we’ve provided energy and cost saving solutions for decades,” said Randy Klein, executive vice president, Crestron.  “Crestron Green Light further demonstrates our vision and innovation for green building, energy management and environmental system design.”

Ask your local Crestron dealer more about these green solutions, and go to www.crestron.com/gogreen for more.
