Creative’s inPerson allows for up to four conferences on one screen, for an additional monthly charge.
Instead of trying to make a device that does everything, Creative was concentrating on making sure their new videoconferencing device did its main task well—and with a name like inPerson, you’d better be able to deliver.
The $700 system allows you to connect with a slew of different meetings, via any Wi-Fi or LAN connection. The 7-inch screen can also connect to a TV or projector, so people can dissect your pores like you’re Brad Pitt.
One neat perk is the inPerson Audio Technology, which integrates noise cancellation technology, so hopefully your entire meeting won’t be spent trying to figure out who is saying what over a room full of people that can’t pipe down.
The inPerson device weighs in at 1.6 ounces, making it easy to travel with. There’s also a small monthly fee, which is unknown. There’s no exact release date, but you should be able to start nagging your employer soon; those pajamas aren’t going to wear themselves, you know.
