Sometimes you need an extra screen. Whether it’s on the deck, in the kitchen, or in the bathroom, having that extra option ensures that you won’t miss a minute of the game, the movie, or just the upcoming weather forecast. Cox just made that option available to its customers, via the Cox TV Connect app.
The Cox TV Connect application allows cable subscribers to stream live TV to an iPad anywhere in and around the home. Unfortunately, it’s doesn’t work in the airport or on a remote island somewhere. That said, it’s nice to have the option for an extra screen around the house—and at no additional charge.
Cox TV Connect includes an on-screen guide and full-screen viewing options. Cox also plans to add more features in the future.
Cox TV Connect for the iPad is now available as a free download through the iTunes Store.
