If wireless is your personal buzzword for home control, Cooper Wiring Devices has a new solution that may interest you, with aesthetics that will keep your elegant home just that.
Cooper Wiring’s Aspire RF Wireless Control System features a full line of switches, receptacles, dimmers, scene controls, remote controls, accessories and screwless wall plates.
Any of the products can be controlled by the press of a remote control button, or in conjunction with other control devices to command scenes and functions.
Aspire RF’s handheld controllers, PDA devices or computers can be used to manage the devices in your control system. There’s a simple programming suite to give you an intuitive set-up process that is easy to install and use in any new or existing home; no new wiring is needed.
The Aspire RF products rely on Z-Wave’s two-way RF-based technology to connect over 200 devices in a single network. Each Aspire RF product offers complete interoperability with any other Z-Wave partner products, Cooper Wiring Devices says.
The aesthetics will fit most home decors, taking cues from the Aspire Design’s signature curve motif, and contrasting matte and low-gloss finishes. The series is available in three two-toned color combinations: Desert Sand, White Satin and Silver Granite.
The system will be available in select North American markets starting this month, with full rollout in 2008.
