This year’s CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) Line Show in New York City just might have offered a glimpse of what will be the hot consumer electronics gifts this holiday season.

The array of products could best be described as a cornucopia of funkiness: everything from an iPod sanitizer to a “flying drone” toy to high-end 3D TVs, whole-house control touchpanels and power management systems were on display for members of the press to check out.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the products that just might be super hot come this fall. Plus it’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays, even if it’s 90 degrees outside.
