Control4 just announced two additions to its product line: a Power-Over-Ethernet LCD Keypad and a next-generation Control4 System Remote Control.

Control4’s Power-Over-Ethernet LCD Keypad can control anything in a house from lighting schemes to security systems. The combination of 10 buttons, a jog-dial, and the large backlit LCD display makes it ideal for in-room music control with multi-room audio systems.  In addition, the Power-Over-Ethernet LCD Keypad offers the same system and interface as other Control4 user interface devices, providing consistency for the homeowner.

The upgraded version enables one-touch access to multiple media devices, in addition to remembering the most recent settings selected. This feature allows a user to return to an environment exactly how it was left without having to re-navigate volume, lighting, and other menus.
The remote also has customizable soft buttons that can be customized to control aspect ratios, lighting, or any other one-touch access you desire.

  • $149 (remote), $299 (keypad)
  • Available in mid-January
  • Keypad has 10 buttons, jog-dial and backlit LCD
