Security seems to be big this week. We have our third security-related announcement for the day, thanks to Control4. The company says they are now selling the new 7-inch In-Wall Touch Screen with Camera (pictured right) and the Control4 Door Station (pictured below).
Both are the latest in Control4’s line of video intercom solutions, promising always-on control functionality for both homes and businesses.
The hub of the system is the 7-inch In-Wall Touch Screen with Camera, which mounts right to the wall. With support for wireless-N and Ethernet, the unit operates via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or AC power options. From there, users can tap into other Control4 video intercom-capable products and the audio intercom compatibility with the current 5- and 7-inch In-Wall Touch Screens.
Control4 is also unleashing the Door Station, allowing for video intercom experiences from outdoor locations. With WiFi and Ethernet support and both AC and PoE options, the Door Station includes two contact sensors and one relay, which can monitor the opening and closing of gates and doors.
The Control4 7-inch In-Wall Touch Screen with Camera is available now for the introductory price of $999. The Control4 Intercom License features an MSRP of $399 for unlimited devices within an installation. Available in satin nickel, satin black and Venetian bronze, the Control4 Door Station is also available now, for $799.
