I came into this article hoping that they would be dropping the price of discs. Too bad.

I plan on putting a blu-ray player on my christmas list, since my failed attempt to support HD-DVD did not suceed. However, I am unsure about purchasing the Olevia brand, at least not their first attempt at the Blu-ray scene. Hopefully the rumors of the Blu-Ray xbox add-on are true….Because thats the way I will try to go.

I said that when the players drop to 250 or below, I would consider one. But, brand and quality are factors….as well as disc prices! They need to drop to the 15 or below mark!

Blu-ray/Xbox is the way I’m going…hopefully it will happen.

Blu Ray movies are over-priced just like the hardware. Give me $5 to $10 HD DVD’s any day.

I am not so much concerned about the players, like the majority, I agree that the prices of Blu-Ray discs need to come down.  $30 is just too much for a movie.  I have no choice other than to buy if I really want it to take advantage of HD.

Blu Ray is the way to go but I hate the PS3 players go Panny all the way I also hated the HD dvd player even before they decided to drop out. $20 movies or below is the best
