Yet again we are let down by the editors of ElectronicHouse.com

Why show a video of construction when every poor sucker that follows a link to this article wants to see the movement of the floor and entrances?

Somehow I think a slide show of the construction and video of the automation would have been a better idea.

This is a stunning home theater. It is very clever and has been well thought out, but I don’t get your complaint. Clearly this video was created by Visual Concepts and it is labeled as a “Construction Video”. I agree it would have been nice to see the rotation of the floor, but if there is someone to be upset at, it should be Visual Concepts and not Electronic House. You can contact them through their website, listed above. It sounds as though you have an axe to grind by starting with… “Yet again…”

While I agree that it would have been cool to have a video of the front row rotating, I think it is totally amazing to see such an unusual concept implemented in so short of a time frame.  Very unique!  Thanks for the peek!

Johnny and any other lurkers.  The link I followed here, posted by EH, made no mention of the video being of the construction.  And read as:

Home Theater With Rotating Floor
(article blah blah blah)
To read more or watch video, check out

There has also several other times that links provided by EH say one thing and detail something else.  No axe to grind just tired of being mislead.

Yes the concept of the rotating floor is very cool but a video of guys standing around a hole I guess didn’t do it for me.

Hrmm, how retarded.  I watched that whole video and they don’t even show you how the chairs move.  They didn’t even finish the whole theater in the video.  They might have designed a good theater (I can’t even tell if they did or not because the video stops too early), but they can’t design a stop frame video for sh##.

Good call stfu.  In your country {the land of no accountability} he’d most likely win.  A place where you can become a millionaire for spilling hot coffee on yourself, and buy garbage bags with legal disclaimers so you don’t sufficate yourself.

I’m with ya Smokin.  Sign me up in the civil suit.

Could you help me get in contact with a designer or engineer that specializes in the rotating floor.  We are trying to design a rotating floor ourselves.  Do you just custom build something or do you have to get something like this designed per code, etc…any suggestions please..
