Serg,
Based on you idiotic comment: You obviously work for a competitor to Amimon and you didn’t take the time to read Amimon website where there is plenty of information.
Cole
Hey Cole - Why don’t you show me EXACTLY - with links, contact info, release dates, price points etc. about when and if this product will ever make it out of vaporware. I don’t work for a competitor - I am just a frustrated consumer that is tired of all the BS and no followthrough CE companies and their marketing departments release onto magazines which in turn are here to “inform” us of products that will never make it and they have in turn no intention on following up. Wireless HD is not getting closer. 802.n rev 2 is the closest standard that will get us there and it is in the final revision stages. No wireless HD till atleast 09. I think your the idiot….
Serg,
Amimon is a chip-set company I image it will be up to their partners and customers (Sanyo and Motorola) to determine the price points and release dates of the end-user products.
I read this article from a link on their site which sums it up nicely.

This is interesting - http://broadcastengineering.com/infrastructure/amimom-uncompressed-hdtv-20051230/
But wait - that was in 05 waiting for the 06 CES
Now, if you go to CES’s webpage and search - you won’t find anything for Amimom, WHDI in the search box. You can find Amimom’s exhibitor listing:
https://myces2007.bdmetrics.com/Portal/ViewCompany.aspx?id=1823766
But that’s about it.
BTW - on your link it listed another thread about the “leaders” in WHDI - Amimom isn’t even listed on that page.
Hey Arlen - why don’t you get a rep from Amimom to reply to this thread. Oh wait - you’re just here to push useless tripe…..
Looks like these products are moving forward

This JVC projector offers more onscreen pixels than most, and a THX mode.
DPI, Sunfire and SnapAV deliver high performance at a reasonable price.
Sayonara, set-top box? Or will it just take an energy-saving nap?
It’s hard to imagine life without remote controls, but it’s been a long, strange path to the modern incarnation we know and love today.
Another bulldshit product push. Why don’t you guys do any research before posting crap. Neither Amimom nor motorola have any info on their sites about this. Amimom has a 75 word press release and that’s it. Motorola has Follow Me TV but it’s not in any market because the cable companies refuse to carry a product that allows you to share multiple streams from one box. This is useless and your website only confounds consumers more. Ridiculous.
